Taliban Security Forces Seize Smuggled Goods from Pakistan in Nangarhar

Local officials in Nangarhar province have announced that Taliban security forces in Momand district have confiscated a number of goods smuggled from Pakistan.

According to the source, the seized items include vegetable seeds, various medical equipment, and some medicine. These goods were illegally brought into the country.

Officials added that the confiscated materials will soon be handed over to the relevant judicial and legal authorities for appropriate legal action.

Nangarhar province, due to its border with Pakistan, has frequently faced challenges related to goods smuggling. However, the Taliban administration has yet to provide further details on the exact volume of the seized items or measures to prevent such incidents from recurring—an issue that has been constantly criticized by local residents and economic activists.
