Congressman Accuses Trump of Dismissing Rising Costs and Economic Struggles as ‘Lies’
Brendan Boyle, a U.S. Congressman, stated that Donald Trump, the President of the United States, dismisses the decrease in purchasing power and the rising living costs faced by American citizens as “lies” and shows disregard for the economic difficulties of the people.
According to American media, Boyle harshly criticized Trump’s approach during an interview with MSNBC on Sunday. He said that former U.S. presidents at least attempted to show empathy with the public and address their economic hardships, but the current president, according to him, does not adopt such an approach.
The congressman added that instead of focusing on solving families’ livelihood issues, Trump prefers to boast about things like his luxurious ballroom. He emphasized that ignoring the economic pressures on citizens has further widened the gap between the White House and ordinary people.
