Flights to Dubai Halted Following Activation of UAE Air Defense Systems
Flight tracking sources have reported that all flights bound for Dubai and Abu Dhabi have been suspended after the activation of the United Arab Emirates’ air defense systems. This measure came in response to what has been described as a “missile threat.”
The UAE Ministry of Defense announced hours ago that the country’s air defense systems are currently countering a missile threat. According to the statement, sounds heard in various parts of the UAE are caused by the operation of air defense systems intercepting ballistic missiles, cruise missiles, and drones.
The ministry also alleged that the source of the attacks was Iran. However, no official Iranian authority or entity has so far confirmed this claim.
