Iranian Consul General Visits Helmand to Explore Economic Opportunities

Mohammadreza Nafar, the Consul General of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Kandahar, announced during his trip to Helmand province that the main purpose of this visit was to assess the economic and commercial capacities of southern Afghanistan.

He stated that the visit was conducted to explore avenues for cooperation and to identify existing capabilities in various economic sectors. According to him, southern Afghanistan, particularly Helmand province, possesses significant potential in agriculture and trade.

Helmand is considered one of the key provinces in southern Afghanistan and, due to its geographical location and vast agricultural lands, has always attracted the attention of investors and traders.
