Severe Rainfall and Flood Warning Issued for 25 Afghan Provinces

The Civil Aviation Department of the Taliban’s Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation has announced that on Monday, the 7th of Sawr, several provinces in Afghanistan will experience heavy rainfall, thunderstorms, relatively strong winds, and possible flash floods.

According to the department’s statement, the provinces of Parwan, Kapisa, Panjshir, Baghlan, Samangan, Balkh, Sar-e-Pul, Faryab, Ghor, Badghis, Herat, Farah, Nimroz, Daikundi, Bamyan, Ghazni, Maidan Wardak, Logar, Kabul, Nangarhar, Paktia, Khost, Takhar, and Badakhshan are included in this forecast.

The statement indicated that rainfall amounts in various areas are expected to range between 10 and 30 millimeters. Additionally, there is a likelihood of strong winds in the central, western, and southeastern provinces.

The wind speeds are estimated to be between 50 and 80 kilometers per hour. Responsible agencies have urged residents in these areas to take precautionary measures to prevent potential damages.
