Pakistan Urges Continued Iran-US Talks to Achieve Lasting Solution

Pakistan’s Interior Minister emphasized the importance of ongoing diplomatic talks between Iran and the United States, urging continuation of the negotiations to reach a sustainable resolution. Mohsin Naqvi, in remarks reported by media outlets including Al Jazeera, stated that Islamabad believes maintaining diplomatic channels between the two sides can pave the way for a lasting solution to reduce tensions. He also described the extension of the ceasefire by US President Donald Trump as an important step toward easing tensions and added that Pakistan expects Iran to continue making progress in this regard. The Pakistani Interior Minister asserted that his country hopes Tehran and Washington will give more time to diplomacy and peaceful solutions to prevent further escalation.
