Exit Exam Held for Nearly 7,000 Medical Graduates in Afghanistan

The Taliban’s Ministry of Public Health announced that the exit exam for nearly 7,000 graduates of medical and dental faculties was conducted in cooperation with the National Examination Authority. According to the ministry, the exam was held in the presence of Noor Jalal Jalali, acting Minister of Public Health, Rahimullah Haqqani, deputy of the National Examination Authority, and several other officials. Authorities stated that the purpose of the exam was to evaluate the professional knowledge level of medical graduates. The exit exam is considered a crucial step for assessing the scientific abilities of graduates before entering the job market in the health sector. The Ministry of Public Health has not provided further details regarding the results or the announcement date.
