Israeli Analyst Admits Iran’s Superiority in Recent Conflict

An Israeli military analyst has criticized what he described as the United States’ retreat in the face of Iran, stating that Tehran held the upper hand in recent developments and that the war had only one winner. According to him, Iran has maintained its capability to carry out attacks even after 41 days and has launched the last shot.

Avi Ashkenazi, an Israeli military analyst, described the operation known as “Roar of the Lion,” initiated by Israel against Iran, as unsuccessful, saying the objectives pursued by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and U.S. President Donald Trump were not achieved.

He also claimed that the Strait of Hormuz has become a source of income for Tehran and that the outcome of the war was contrary to initial predictions.

Meanwhile, some Israeli media, citing regime officials, reported that news of a ceasefire in Lebanon was not welcomed in Tel Aviv. They believe recent events represent one of Israel’s heaviest failures since the events of October 7.

Earlier, the Israeli newspaper Maariv wrote that on the recent battlefield, Iran had managed to gain the upper hand. These statements come as tensions in the region remain a focal point for political and military analysts.
