Around 40 Rockets Fired from Lebanon into Northern Israel, Targeting Nahariya
Israeli media reported that since this morning, approximately 40 rockets have been launched from Lebanese territory toward northern areas of Israel. According to official sources, the attack mainly targeted the city of Nahariya, causing property damage and injuring several individuals.
According to Al Mayadeen network, the Lebanese Hezbollah movement stated that these attacks were carried out as part of “legitimate self-defense.” The Israeli military also confirmed the rocket fire from southern Lebanon.
Yedidya Epstein, a reporter for Israel’s Channel 12, said several vehicles in Nahariya were damaged as a result of the attack. Some Israeli media outlets reported that two people were injured, although no further details about their condition have been released.
Meanwhile, the Israeli Ministry of Health issued a statement saying that since the country’s attacks against Iran began on February 28, a total of 7,183 people have been injured. The ministry added that in the past 24 hours alone, 133 individuals were admitted to hospitals for medical treatment.
Nahariya is a coastal city in northern Israel near the Lebanese border. It has been targeted by rocket attacks during various periods of tension between the two sides.
