US-Israeli Airstrikes Target Iraqi Popular Mobilization Forces Positions in Nineveh and Salahuddin

Iraqi Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) announced that two of their affiliated centers in the Nineveh and Salahuddin provinces were targeted by US-Israeli airstrikes. According to the forces, the attacks took place on Monday and caused no casualties.

According to the official statement from the PMF commission, the first attack targeted the intelligence headquarters of the 25th Brigade at the Nineveh Operations Command in the al-Hadar area. In the second attack, the 4th Battalion of the 52nd Brigade at the North and East Tigris Operations Command was hit.

The statement said the attack involved the firing of four missiles at PMF positions at al-Hulwa Airport in the Tuz Khurmatu district of Salahuddin. Officials from the forces emphasized that despite material damage, there were no reports of human casualties.

The PMF also recalled that last Thursday, the 4th Battalion of the 14th Brigade and the 30th Brigade in Nineveh were targets of similar attacks. The forces stated that their operations will continue as part of their response to what they describe as “ongoing aggression.”

Meanwhile, Ahmed al-Hamidawi, Secretary-General of the Hezbollah Brigades in Iraq, issued a statement warning that if tensions escalate in the region, the consequences will affect energy interests. He said, “The equation today is clear; either security for all or insecurity for all.”

Simultaneously, the group calling itself “Avengers of the Blood” released footage showing the targeting of American bases in the area and reaffirmed their continued operations in response to these attacks. These developments come amid rising military tensions in the region in recent days.
