96 Tons of Medical Supplies Airlifted from Dubai to Kabul in Humanitarian Aid

A total of 96 tons of vital medical equipment and supplies have been airlifted to Kabul via an air bridge, an operation ordered by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Dubai, and facilitated by the Dubai Humanitarian Foundation.

According to released information, this aid has been provided by the World Health Organization (WHO), Doctors Without Borders, and the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF). The shipment aims to strengthen healthcare services and respond to urgent medical needs in Afghanistan.

Upon arrival in Kabul, the life-saving medical equipment and materials will be handed over to relevant agencies to be used in hospitals and other healthcare centers. Afghanistan has faced extensive public health challenges in recent years, and international aid helps cover part of the existing needs in this sector.
