Taliban Spokesman Zabiullah Mujahid Denounces Marco Rubio’s Remarks on Afghanistan as One-Sided

Zabiullah Mujahid, the spokesperson for the Taliban administration, described comments made by US Secretary of State Marco Rubio regarding Afghan territory as one-sided and incorrect. He added that the American official relied on information provided by Pakistan.

Mujahid emphasized that the Taliban administration values mediation between Kabul and Islamabad but pointed out that clashes were initiated by Pakistan. He reiterated that Afghan soil will never be used to launch attacks against any country.

Earlier, Marco Rubio expressed concerns on Pakistan’s part over the use of Afghan territory for military incursions, stating that the Taliban have so far taken no action to prevent these attacks.
