Yemen’s armed forces say they targeted Riyadh airport and Saudi-linked sites

Yahya Saree, spokesman for Yemen’s armed forces, said the group had carried out a new operation against vital Saudi targets and groups linked to Riyadh. He said King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh was targeted with a ballistic missile.

Saree added that crude oil pumping facilities on Saudi Arabia’s east-west pipeline were attacked with several drones. He said the strikes were part of a broader military campaign against infrastructure and forces affiliated with Saudi Arabia in the region.

In addition, two successful military operations were carried out in Yemen’s Aden and Lahj, targeting gathering points of Saudi-backed forces and their weapons depots. These operations included the firing of several ballistic missiles at the Salah al-Din area in Aden and Al-Wahat in Lahj.

Saree stressed that the missiles hit their targets accurately, killing and wounding dozens of members of the affiliated forces and destroying important military equipment depots. According to him, a Saudi officer named Badr Al-Harbi was overseeing the depots in question.
