Deoband Seminary Delegation Meets Deputy Governor of Logar

A number of scholars from Darul Uloom Deoband in India met with Sheikh Inamullah Salahuddin, deputy governor of Logar, and several religious scholars from the province during a visit to Logar.

The meeting discussed Afghanistan’s security situation and the role of Darul Uloom Deoband in the field of Islamic studies. No further details have been released on the practical outcomes of the meeting.

Sheikh Inamullah Salahuddin was also invited to travel to India and visit Darul Uloom Deoband.

Darul Uloom Deoband is one of India’s well-known religious seminaries. It was founded in the 19th century and holds an important place in the teaching of Islamic studies in South Asia.
