Taliban say 32 people arrested over various crimes in Khost

The Taliban-run Khost police command has said 32 people were arrested in the province over the past two weeks on allegations of involvement in various crimes.

In a statement, the force said those detained are accused of theft, physical altercations, domestic violence, disturbing public order, murder, harassing people, threats, fraud and several other offences.

According to the Khost police command, the arrests were carried out in Khost city and in the districts of Gurbuz, Tani, Spera, Bak, Dwamanda and Nadir Shah Kot.

Khost is one of Afghanistan’s southeastern provinces, with Khost city as its capital. It borders several districts, including Nadir Shah Kot and Tani.
