Taliban delegation in Belarus discusses transport cooperation
The Taliban administration said Azimullah Kamran, head of revenue regulation and control at its Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation, discussed transit and transport cooperation during a visit to Belarus with that country’s deputy transport minister.
According to a statement from the Taliban Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation, the meeting also reviewed expanding bilateral relations in the transport sector and creating further facilities to develop transport cooperation between Afghanistan and Belarus.
The Taliban said the meeting took place as part of a visit by a high-level delegation from the administration to Belarus, and Kamran was present as a member of the delegation.
The delegation is led by Mawlawi Ataullah Omari, acting minister of agriculture, irrigation and livestock in the Taliban administration, and has travelled to Belarus. Belarus is a country in Eastern Europe, and in recent years the Taliban administration has sought to expand its working relations with some countries in the economic and transport fields.
