Taliban Administration Emphasizes Commitment to Media Cooperation

Abdul Wasi Khadem, head of the Prime Minister’s office in the Taliban administration, announced at the launch of a program titled “Governance through the Lens of the Press” that the administration considers itself committed to cooperating with the media.

According to him, the Taliban administration provides credible information to the media and strives to make its activities accessible to public opinion through this channel.

Khadem described the media as a tool for building trust and raising awareness about the administration’s activities, emphasizing the important role of the media in reflecting the performance of government institutions.

The “Governance through the Lens of the Press” program was organized to facilitate interaction between Taliban officials and the media, amid growing concerns among media activists due to extensive restrictions on media activities in Afghanistan in recent years.
