Bavari Sarkhini told Radio Free Afghanistan that Uzbekistan’s Deputy Prime Minister is arriving in Kabul today leading an official delegation. According to the source, the main focus of this visit is discussions on trade and economic issues and exploring ways to expand cooperation in these areas. Uzbekistan is one of the Central Asian countries that has signed multiple trade agreements with Afghanistan in recent years. Trade relations between the two countries, especially in the sectors of energy transit, essential goods, and transit routes, have remained key areas of bilateral cooperation between Tashkent and Kabul.
