Bodybuilding National Team Trials Kick Off in Kabul with 209 Athletes

A new round of national team selection competitions for bodybuilding and fitness has begun at the 500-seat sports hall of the National Sports Administration in Kabul. A total of 209 athletes from 21 provinces, including Kabul, are participating in the event.
According to the National Olympic Committee, the competitions are being held in two categories: bodybuilding and fitness, across various weight classes ranging from 55 to over 95 kilograms and height categories from 165 to over 185 centimeters. At the end of the competitions, 60 athletes will be selected for the fitness team, and 50 athletes for the bodybuilding team to join the national squad.
Federation officials stated that the competitions will last for two days, during which the top athletes will be chosen to represent the national team and compete in the South Asian tournaments.
These competitions are organized by the National Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation in coordination with the National Olympic Committee and the Physical Training and Sports Directorate.
