3.3 Million Afghani Allocated for Road Repairs in Pul-e-Khumri

Officials from the Pul-e-Khumri Municipality have announced the commencement of repair and patching work on hundreds of meters of roads in the city, with a budget of 3.3 million Afghanis.

Ahmed Fawad Hotak, the media officer of Pul-e-Khumri Municipality, stated that this project is funded from the municipality’s developmental budget and covers sections of the city’s roads that were in need of repair and rehabilitation.

According to him, upon completion of this project, the movement of vehicles and citizens in the affected areas will become easier, and problems caused by damaged roads will be reduced.

Officials of Pul-e-Khumri Municipality emphasized that the implementation of infrastructural and standard projects will continue with the aim of improving urban services and providing greater welfare for the residents of the city. Pul-e-Khumri, the capital of Baghlan province in northern Afghanistan, is considered one of the important transit cities along the Salang highway route.
