Two Water Supply Networks Completed in Maidan Wardak Province

Construction of two water supply networks in the Nerkh and Daymirdad districts of Maidan Wardak province has been completed with a cost of over 8.5 million Afghanis and is now operational. With the activation of these projects, 527 families in these areas have gained access to safe drinking water.
The Press Office of the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development announced that these projects include the construction of two water reservoirs with capacities of 60 and 20 cubic meters, the installation of 259 water taps, and the implementation of 21 kilometers of pipeline.
According to the ministry, the implementation of these projects has provided employment opportunities for dozens of local residents. The lack of safe drinking water is a serious challenge in some rural areas of Maidan Wardak, and the completion of such networks can help meet some of the basic needs of the people.
