Technical Talks Between Iran and US Relocated to Qatar Amid Ongoing Dialogue

Technical talks between Iran and the United States, initially scheduled to take place in Switzerland, have been moved to Qatar. The meeting is set at the expert level to discuss the implementation of the understanding reached between the two sides and is planned for the coming days.
Al Mayadeen, citing its sources, reported that while the venue for the discussions has changed, the core negotiations remain on the agenda. Official details explaining the reason for the relocation have not yet been released.
The New York Times, quoting a senior U.S. official, stated that technical talks with Iran will continue as planned. According to the official, despite recent flare-ups of hostilities between the two countries, no dialogues have been canceled and communications remain ongoing.
Previously, The Wall Street Journal had reported that this week’s talks in Switzerland were canceled. However, recent reports indicate that rather than being halted, the talks have simply been moved to a different location.
