Warning Issued Over Alleged ‘Ethnic Cleansing’ Plan in Gaza

The Secretary-General of the Palestinian National Initiative has warned about what he described as a “new plan for ethnic cleansing in the Gaza Strip,” urging Arab and Islamic countries to take immediate action to prevent its implementation. Mustafa Barghouti stated that new evidence indicates that the Israeli government and security agencies are orchestrating a comprehensive plan for the forced evacuation of Gaza’s residents.
According to him, Israeli Channel 14 revealed that this plan was prepared in coordination with the government and security bodies, with the Mossad intelligence agency assigned to execute it swiftly. Barghouti emphasized that these disclosures confirm previous warnings from Palestinian groups and statements made by Israeli military officials, which pointed to the continuation of a forced displacement policy through coercion.
The Palestinian official further claimed that companies operating under the management of Israeli intelligence agencies are involved in the forced transfer of Gaza’s inhabitants. He added that hundreds of Palestinians have been moved to unknown locations after having their identities stripped and their right to return revoked.
Barghouti described the ongoing military assaults on Gaza and the expanding occupation in the area as directly linked to this policy, stating that the ultimate goal is to change the demographic makeup of the land. Gaza, one of the most densely populated Palestinian territories, has been under siege and continuous attacks for years.
He called on mediators, the international community, and especially Arab and Islamic countries to exert “serious and immediate” pressure on Israel to halt this process. Barghouti concluded by stressing that the Palestinian people in the West Bank, Gaza, and other parts of Palestinian territory insist on staying on their homeland, and, according to him, no power can break their will.
