Shiberghan Municipality Collects Over 8 Million Afghanis in Revenue

The Shiberghan Municipality has announced that it collected more than 8 million Afghanis in revenue during the first three months of the current solar year and deposited the amount into the government’s account. These revenues were gathered from various urban sources.

Mawlavi Fazl-ul-Mannan Omari, the mayor of Shiberghan, told Bakhtar Agency that the total revenue of this office during this period reached 8,059,423 Afghanis. According to him, this amount was generated through urban services and various revenue sources.

According to the provided information, sanitation services, rental fees for properties and facilities related to the municipality, the issuance of business licenses, market rentals, and other similar sources have contributed to the increase in revenue.

Municipalities in the provinces are responsible for managing urban services, regulating business affairs, and maintaining urban areas, and they finance part of their administrative and service expenses from these revenues.
