Afghan Business Delegation Meets Shanghai Cooperation Organization Members to Boost Economic Ties

The head of the Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Investment, along with a group of Afghan traders, participated in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) exhibition in Kyrgyzstan and held meetings and discussions with representatives of the chambers of commerce from SCO member countries.
According to the chamber, the focus of these meetings was to strengthen economic cooperation, expand trade exchanges, attract investment, and create new opportunities for the private sector of Afghanistan and SCO member countries.
The Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Investment emphasized that participation in such regional events provides an opportunity to showcase the country’s economic capacities, develop export markets, and establish direct connections between Afghan traders and investors and their regional counterparts.
The chamber stated that efforts to enhance interaction and cooperation between Afghanistan’s private sector and regional countries will continue to foster trade growth, attract investment, and promote further economic development in the country.
