Trump Clashes Verbally with Republican Senator Bill Cassidy Over Iran Policy

Media outlets have reported that Donald Trump, the President of the United States, engaged in a verbal clash with Republican Senator Bill Cassidy during a closed-door meeting with members of the Republican Party over the war and agreement with Iran. The meeting took place amid criticism regarding the management of the Iran dossier.
According to news sources, several participants in the meeting criticized what they called “warmongering against Iran” and also the manner of the agreement with Tehran. Among them, Bill Cassidy demanded clearer explanations from Trump regarding the details of the agreement.
Cassidy alleged that the US President has provided financial incentives to Iran without the declared objectives of Washington’s war against the country having been achieved. He emphasized that the American people need to be informed with more details.
The Republican senator also added that the course of the war, as it has been presented to public opinion, differs from the existing realities. So far, the White House has not officially commented on these reports.
