Kazakhstan Sends Over 318 Tons of Humanitarian Aid and Medical Delegation to Kabul

Kazakh authorities have announced that the country has dispatched 318.8 tons of humanitarian aid to the people of Afghanistan, along with sending a medical delegation to Kabul. The aid primarily consists of medical supplies and arrived in Afghanistan accompanied by a high-ranking Kazakh delegation.

This aid delivery coincides with the visit of Serik Zhumanğarin, Kazakhstan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy, who is leading the senior delegation to Kabul. The delegation includes nine specialists from reputable Kazakh medical institutions.

Under a program titled “Kazakhstan Medical Days in Afghanistan,” these specialists are set to provide expert consultations to patients in Kabul for one week, carry out practical medical services, and conduct training workshops for Afghan health workers.

Serik Zhumanğarin stated that the dispatch of this humanitarian aid is directed by the President of Kazakhstan and forms part of the country’s ongoing policy to support the Afghan people. In recent years, Kazakhstan has sought to maintain and expand its humanitarian and healthcare cooperation with Afghanistan.
