Final Stage of Kabul University Entrance Exam to Take Place Tomorrow

The General Directorate of Examinations under the Taliban administration has announced that the fourth and final stage of the nationwide university entrance exam (Kankor) will be held tomorrow (Friday, May 12) at the Kabul Educational Center. This stage represents the last part of this year’s Kankor process in the capital. Nassrullah Khan Shirzi, spokesperson for the directorate, stated that candidates who did not participate in the previous three stages will also be included in this phase. Additionally, graduates living abroad, graduates from ethnic and tribal communities, graduates of religious schools in Kabul province, 14th-grade graduates, and candidates from night educational centers will take part in this exam. According to Shirzi, a special exam for 14th-grade graduates from Nangarhar, Laghman, Kandahar, Helmand, Farah, and Nimroz provinces will be held separately after the completion of all four stages of this year’s Kankor. The Kankor is held annually as a nationwide university entrance examination in Afghanistan, and its results play a crucial role in determining the educational future of thousands of Afghan youth.
