Widespread Protests Against Netanyahu Cabinet Erupt in Multiple Israeli Cities

Hundreds of residents of the occupied territories held protests in Tel Aviv, East Jerusalem, Beersheba, Haifa, and several other areas against the policies of Benjamin Netanyahu’s cabinet. The demonstrators demanded early elections and the formation of an official committee to investigate what they described as a “security failure” during the “Al-Aqsa Storm” operation.

According to reports, the main gathering in Tel Aviv began at Rabin Square and continued to Habima Square, with about one thousand participants. The protesters questioned the cabinet’s handling of security crises and the ongoing war through chants and slogans.

Haim Tamer, the former head of the intelligence division of the Mossad intelligence service, addressed the protesters and directed sharp criticism at Netanyahu’s cabinet. He stated that citizens are paying the price of the regime officials’ policies with their lives.

Tamer also warned about the declining capabilities of the Israeli army and the protracted nature of the war with Hezbollah. These recent protests come amid a political climate in the occupied territories still affected by the repercussions of the Al-Aqsa Storm operation and subsequent security developments.
