Taliban Representative Attends Turkmenistan National Carpet Festival

Fazl Mohammad Saber, head of the Taliban administration’s embassy in Ashgabat, participated in Turkmenistan’s National Carpet Festival, representing Afghanistan at the event. The ceremony was attended by several Turkmen officials and foreign diplomats.
According to reports, a number of Afghan traders also took part in the festival, showcasing carpets produced in Afghanistan. Afghan carpets are considered one of the country’s important handicrafts and are well-known in regional and global markets.
The Turkmenistan National Carpet Festival is held annually in Ashgabat to promote the art of carpet weaving and strengthen trade cooperation. The presence of Afghan traders at such events can help further introduce the country’s products and expand trade relations between the two nations.
