Taliban Representative Attends Official Eid al-Adha Ceremony in Turkmenistan

The Taliban administration’s embassy in Turkmenistan announced that Fazl Mohammad Saber, the head of this representation, participated in the official Eid al-Adha ceremony held by Turkmenistan’s authorities.
According to a newsletter published by this embassy, the event was hosted by senior Turkmen officials, and Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow, the national leader of Turkmenistan, addressed the gathering on the topic of regional stability.
Following the ceremony, attendees also visited the construction site of the large Arkadag Grand Mosque. The Taliban embassy stated that during the visit, Afghanistan’s marble stones were also praised.
Turkmenistan, a northern neighboring country to Afghanistan, has maintained economic and transit relations with Afghanistan in recent years. The Taliban administration has consistently sought to use such events to showcase its regional interactions.
