Pakistan Expresses Growing Optimism Over Iran-US Negotiations

Pakistan’s Foreign Minister has expressed increased hope for a positive and lasting outcome in the talks between Iran and the United States. These remarks come amid ongoing speculation about the possibility of the two sides reaching some form of ceasefire agreement.
Mohammad Ishaq Dar, Pakistan’s Foreign Minister, referred to reports of progress in the negotiations and emphasized that what has been achieved so far has created grounds for greater optimism. He did not provide further details about the content of the talks.
The Pakistani Foreign Minister also described a significant phone call from Donald Trump, the President of the United States, as a crucial step toward bolstering efforts for regional peace. According to him, this contact could play an effective role in reducing tensions.
Meanwhile, several American media outlets have published excerpts of a potential agreement, reporting that Tehran and Washington have reached an almost finalized stage in their indirect negotiations. However, Iranian official sources have yet to confirm these reports, and no formal details have been released by either side.
