Security Forces Rescue Residents Trapped in Kunduz Floods

Authorities from the Kunduz Police Command have announced that several residents of the province trapped on highways and in villages due to last night’s floods have been rescued by security forces.
Jumahuddin Khaksar, spokesperson for the Kunduz Police Command, stated that heavy rainfall last night caused floods in some areas, resulting in citizens being trapped on roads and in villages. He added that security forces promptly arrived at the scenes and transferred the trapped individuals to safe locations.
The spokesperson further emphasized that security forces remain at the service of the people around the clock and cooperate with residents in emergencies.
According to provided information, floods have occurred in several areas of Kunduz province due to recent rainfall; however, no reports of casualties or financial damages have been released so far. Meanwhile, local residents continue to call for greater preparedness from relevant authorities to manage natural disasters and reduce the vulnerability of flood-prone areas.
