Taliban Ministry Signs $10 Million Health Services Contract for Paktia Province

The Taliban’s Ministry of Public Health has announced the signing of a contract worth over $10.3 million with Health Net-TPO to strengthen and expand health services in Paktia province.

According to the ministry, the one-year contract aims to improve the quality of health services, increase residents’ access to medical care, and reduce health problems in the province.

Officials stated that with the implementation of this project, Paktia residents will have better access to essential health services across various areas.

Additionally, within the framework of this program, employment opportunities will be provided for 1,538 individuals in the health sector, which will help address part of the province’s workforce needs.
