Construction Begins on ‘Nila Bagh’ Residential Project with 1,400 Apartments in Kabul

The large-scale residential project “Nila Bagh” has commenced in the Darulaman area of Kabul city, supported financially by China. The project aims to provide thousands of families with access to suitable housing through the construction of 1,400 new apartments. Additionally, it has created employment and income opportunities for hundreds of residents across the country.
Located in western Kabul, the Darulaman area has hosted several infrastructure and construction projects in recent years. Officials involved in this project say that the completion of the Nila Bagh residential complex will address part of the growing demand for housing in the capital.
Beyond providing shelter, the construction of this complex has generated jobs for workers, engineers, and other technical staff—a significant factor for many families given the current economic situation.
Shah Wali Ziarml, a reporter for Radio Omang, has visited the project site and prepared a report detailing the progress of the work and its impact on the lives of residents.
