New Building for Shaheed Haider Boys’ School Opens in Jaghoori District

The Ghazni Provincial Education Department announced the completion and inauguration of the new building for the Shaheed Haider Boys’ School in Jaghoori district. According to the department, approximately 400 students in the area now have access to a standard educational environment with the opening of this facility.

The two-story building includes 12 classrooms, an administrative office, and a library. The construction cost, reported to be six million Afghanis, was funded by local residents.

Education officials stated that the completion of this project will help alleviate part of the shortage of classroom space in Jaghoori. The district is one of the most populous in Ghazni province and has faced a lack of adequate school facilities in recent years.

This project was realized with the financial cooperation of the local community amid the broader challenges facing the country’s education system under Taliban rule, which include widespread restrictions and resource shortages in several provinces. These issues have drawn ongoing criticism from education activists and local residents, who continue to call for practical attention and greater investment in the education sector.
