India Donates Relief Tents to Returning Afghan Migrants

India’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced that, as part of its humanitarian aid to the people of Afghanistan, it has provided a number of family tents to the Ministry of Refugees and Repatriation under the Taliban administration.

According to the ministry’s statement, this assistance aims to provide emergency shelter and support the process of resettling and reintegrating Afghan migrants who have returned to the country.

In recent years, the return of migrants from neighboring countries has increased, and many returnees face shortages of shelter and basic facilities. The provision of family tents can help meet some of the urgent needs of these families during the initial stages of their return.

However, the transparent and fair distribution of this aid, as well as effective addressing of the challenges faced by the returnees, remain issues of ongoing concern for aid organizations and the families themselves.
