Guardian: Netanyahu’s Measures Have Yields but at Significant Costs

The Guardian has reported that the actions taken by Benjamin Netanyahu, Israel’s Prime Minister, have not resulted in significant achievements for the country and have instead incurred heavy costs. The western newspaper pointed to the political and security consequences of Tel Aviv’s recent approaches.
The report states that the adopted policies, especially regarding regional developments, have failed to achieve their stated objectives. The Guardian emphasized that these measures have come with considerable price and have created new challenges.
The newspaper mainly referred to regional tensions and Israel’s handling of issues related to Iran. In recent months, developments involving Iran and Israel have been a central focus of political and security discussions across the region.
Meanwhile, the Wall Street Journal, citing U.S. intelligence assessments, reported that Iran still possesses thousands of ballistic missiles and maintains the capability to activate underground stored launch platforms.
According to the report, these assessments are released as the United States seeks to manage tensions and keep strategic regional routes, including the Strait of Hormuz, open while preventing potential threats against its forces and allies.
