Death Toll from Islamabad Court Blast Rises to Over 30

At least nine people were killed and 21 others injured in a deadly explosion that occurred on Monday outside a courthouse building in Islamabad, the capital of Pakistan.

According to Pakistani media reports, the blast took place near the main entrance of the courthouse. Many of the injured were rushed to nearby hospitals, and authorities have confirmed that the condition of several victims remains critical.

No group has yet claimed responsibility for the attack, and the motive behind the incident is still unknown. Similar explosions in the past have been carried out by extremist groups such as Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan, but investigations into this particular attack are still ongoing.

Security in Islamabad—especially around judicial and administrative facilities—has repeatedly been targeted in attacks. The recurrence of such incidents has raised deep concerns among citizens and human rights activists in Pakistan and across the region.
