Street Lights Illuminate the Connector Road for Blocks 13 to 16 in Ahmad Shah Baba Mina

The Kabul Municipality has announced the completion and public inauguration of a street lighting project on the connector road linking blocks 13, 14, 15, and 16 in Ahmad Shah Baba Mina, located in District 12 of Kabul city.
Mohammad Dawood Zwab, Technical Deputy Director of Maintenance, Supervision, and Monitoring at Kabul Municipality, stated that along this road, spanning 3,500 meters in length, a total of 107 lamp-equipped poles have been installed to provide consistent nighttime illumination.
He explained that among the installed poles, 73 are double-armed and 34 are single-armed, playing a significant role in enhancing pedestrian safety, improving traffic security, reducing urban crime, and facilitating nighttime movement for the residents of this area.
Municipality officials reported that the total cost of this project exceeded nine million Afghanis and added that the road itself had been constructed last year by the relevant department.
