The Taliban’s Justice Department has announced that the Land Encroachment Prevention Commission has registered more than 27.57 million acres of pastureland in the provinces of Faryab, Badghis, and Badakhshan over the past year. According to the department, these areas have been examined by an appointed commission and officially recorded in the land registry.
Based on the department’s statement, of the total registered pasturelands, over 9.321 million acres are located in Faryab, more than 4.167 million acres in Badghis, and over 14 million acres in Badakhshan. These areas include the provincial centers and all districts within these provinces.
