Iran Approves Passage of 20 Pakistani Ships Through Strait of Hormuz

Pakistan’s Foreign Minister has announced that the Islamic Republic of Iran has approved the passage of 20 ships flying the Pakistani flag through the Strait of Hormuz. According to him, an average of two ships per day will pass through this strategic waterway.

Ishaq Dar described Tehran’s decision as a “positive and constructive move” and said such an action is deserving of appreciation. He emphasized that this agreement could help strengthen trust and stability in the region.

The Pakistani Foreign Minister added that this announcement is an important step towards peace and will strengthen the joint efforts of the two countries to reduce tensions and enhance bilateral cooperation.

He also stressed the importance of dialogue and diplomacy, stating that sustainable solutions can only be achieved through constructive engagement and confidence-building measures. The Strait of Hormuz is one of the world’s most crucial maritime routes, with a significant portion of energy trade passing through it.
