Yemeni Houthis Warn of Possible War to Support Iran Amid Rising US-Israel Tensions

Yahya Saree, spokesperson for Yemen’s Ansar Allah (Houthis), announced that if tensions between the United States, Israel, and Iran continue and escalate, the group is prepared to join the conflict alongside Iran. This warning was issued in an official statement emphasizing the group’s military readiness.

The statement indicated that if any new country or coalition joins the US and Israeli military actions against Iran and its allies, or if the Red Sea is used to carry out operations against Iran and other regional countries, Ansar Allah will consider direct intervention.

Furthermore, the declaration cited the ongoing attacks against Iran and what the group refers to as the “axis” as other possible reasons for entering the war. The Red Sea, a crucial strategic global trade route, has witnessed repeated military tensions in recent years.

In the statement, Ansar Allah’s spokesperson described the current US-Israel conflicts with Iran as “unjustified and unprovoked aggression,” warning that continued hostilities could challenge both regional and global stability. So far, US and Israeli officials have not issued any new responses to these remarks.
