Islamabad to Host Quad Foreign Ministers’ Meeting on Middle East War

Turkey’s Foreign Minister has announced the possibility of Pakistan hosting a meeting of foreign ministers from Turkey, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt focused on developments in the Middle East war in the coming days.

According to international media, Hakan Fidan told the Turkish private channel A Haber that the meeting was initially planned to be held in Turkey, but was relocated due to Pakistani officials’ need to be present in their country.

He added that it was decided the meeting would take place in Pakistan, likely by the end of this week.

Fidan emphasized that the talks will involve the foreign ministers of the four countries and will concentrate on assessing the current situation of the Middle East war. No further details regarding the specific agenda of the meeting have been released so far.
