Traffic Accident in Ghazni Kills Six Family Members, Injures Two

A collision between two vehicles in Qarabagh district of Ghazni province has resulted in the deaths of six members of a single family and injured two others. The incident occurred before noon on Wednesday, March 17, in the Koti area along the Kabul-Kandahar highway.
The Taliban’s Ghazni Police Command issued a statement saying that a Fortuner vehicle collided with a pickup truck in this accident. According to the statement, the deceased include four children, one woman, and one man.
Among the injured are a child and a man, though their medical conditions have not been precisely detailed. The victims have been identified as residents of Nawah district in Ghazni province.
The police command cited driver negligence as the main cause of the accident. The Kabul-Kandahar highway is considered one of the country’s busiest and most important transit routes and has witnessed numerous deadly traffic incidents annually.
