Taliban Premier Mullah Mohammad Hassan Akhund Calls for Aid to Victims of Pakistani Attacks

Mullah Mohammad Hassan Akhund, Prime Minister of the Taliban administration, has called on organizations and individuals to support those affected by Pakistani military attacks as well as Afghan returnees from neighboring countries in his Eid message. He emphasized that these families urgently need attention and cooperation.
In his message, Akhund also stressed the importance of addressing the needs of the underprivileged and said that provisions should be made so that poor individuals can also share in the Eid celebrations. He urged officials to take practical measures in this regard.
In recent months, Pakistani military attacks on certain border areas have caused damage and displacement of some residents. At the same time, the forced and voluntary return of Afghans from neighboring countries has added further pressure on local communities.
However, critics argue that the Taliban administration holds direct responsibility for providing shelter, basic services, and sustained support for returnees and victims, and that these issues should not be limited to occasional appeals. They believe that effective response to this situation requires transparent planning and practical action at the national level.
