Taliban’s Finance Minister Meets Azizi Group Representatives to Discuss Cooperation

The Taliban’s Ministry of Finance announced that Mullah Mohammad Nasir Akhund, the minister, met with representatives of the Azizi Group to discuss the development of joint cooperation. According to the ministry, both parties emphasized greater coordination and the follow-up of discussed topics.

A statement from the Ministry of Finance indicated that technical experts from both sides have been appointed to review several technical issues and pursue their practical implementation, facilitating the evaluation and execution process.

Representatives of the Azizi Group also expressed during the meeting that they would seek the Ministry of Finance’s cooperation should any problems arise in their operational activities. In response, the Taliban’s Finance Minister assured that the ministry is ready for full cooperation within its authority.

However, no further details have been released regarding the nature of the projects, types of cooperation, or mechanisms to oversee these agreements.
