Taliban Spokesperson Reports Seizure of Pakistani Outpost Near Durand Line

A spokesperson for the Taliban administration announced that their forces captured a Pakistani outpost near the Durand Line in the Zazi Maidan district of Khost province last night. Sadullah Nosrat, the spokesperson for the Ministry of Defense of the Taliban administration, stated that the outpost was located in an area known as ‘Jando Sar,’ and he claimed that Pakistani forces withdrew from the location without any clashes or resistance. So far, Pakistani officials have not commented on the matter, and no further details about the current situation in the area have been released. The Durand Line, considered a disputed border between Afghanistan and Pakistan, has witnessed recurring border tensions and sporadic clashes between the two sides over recent years.
