Over 270 Rockets and Shells Fired by Pakistani Troops at Kunar in 48 Hours

The Information and Culture Department of Kunar province reports that in the past 48 hours, more than 270 rockets and artillery shells have been fired by Pakistani military forces at various parts of the province. According to the department, these attacks have targeted several areas of Kunar.

Zia-ur-Rahman Spinghar, head of Information and Culture in Kunar, stated in a released statement that the attacks were carried out by the Pakistani army and have affected multiple districts within the province. He emphasized that, so far, no casualties have been reported as a result of these assaults.

However, he noted that a number of residential homes and buildings have been destroyed due to the shelling. Further details regarding the extent of financial damage and the exact number of buildings affected have not been disclosed.

Kunar, located in eastern Afghanistan, has been a frequent site of clashes and cross-border attacks in recent years. Continued incidents like these have raised concerns among local residents, who hope the Taliban administration will take effective and responsive measures to ensure the security of border areas and prevent the recurrence of such events.
