Maulana Fazlur Rahman Urges Pakistan to Rethink Regional Policy Amid Complex Challenges
Maulana Fazlur Rahman, leader of Pakistan’s Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam party, has stated that the country is currently facing complex regional and global challenges and must reconsider its regional and international policies.
He made these remarks during a conversation with reporters, emphasizing that Islamabad needs to reassess its approach to surrounding developments. According to him, the current situation demands that Pakistan more carefully define its position within regional dynamics.
The Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam leader also stressed the importance of relations with neighboring countries, saying Pakistan should establish good and constructive ties to ensure stability and shared interests.
Fazlur Rahman added that war and tension not only fail to resolve existing problems but also complicate crises further. He underscored that dialogue and political engagement could be a more effective way to reduce tensions at the regional level.
